Here we are in NYC again it’s December 8th and the temperature is a little cooler than we had been enjoying in the Caribbean dropped from 86 f there down to 34 f here, yep it’s flippin cold ! We took a Uber from the ship docked in Brooklyn over to midtown Manhattan and drove across the famous Brooklyn Bridge. having breakfast in an American Diner in Pershing then into Grand central and then on to look at the Christmas Tree and ice rink at the Rockefeller centre. Then a bit more walking found us in Time Square and after a pic stop and amazed look around we trundled off to Macy’s. Pic’s below.

See you at home folks !
A fantastic day from the moment we docked in this beautiful friendly island where everyone seemed to have a smile an a wave for us tourists. We wandered around the capital of St Kitts and Nevis, the town of Basseterre in the morning, in temperatures around 86 degrees f. Then in the afternoon we went on a trip in a 4×4 cross country to a plantation house 1000ft up in the hills with views around this gorgeous island. Then after partaking of rum punch we traveled down to the beach at Frigate Bay for a dip in the sea and sample some of the beer available at one of the beach bars. Below are a few of our pics.

St Lucia or alternatively titled “Love my Tender” yesterday 3rd December while all in dear old Britain suffered cold wind and rain we had to endure 86 degree f sunshine. As you might guess we dropped anchor and had to take tenders ashore. No trips today but enjoyed a walk around.

Yesterday 1st December in Dominica, it’s so hot here it can’t be nearly Christmas! Oh you poor folks back in cold Britain !
Here are a couple of pics from our trip round Dominica and into the rainforest.

Barbados today 2nd December. It’s such a hardship in these temperatures, it was 85 degrees F yesterday and around the same sort of heat today. Sara negotiated with a sea captain called Nemo this morning for a trip out on his boat, little did we realise we would end up 140 feet below the waves. As you might guess from the blog we’re really suffering, while you are enjoying seasonal weather in the UK. Here are a few pics from our submarine experience.

Well here we are in the Caribbean our first island Tortola really hot, but we wandered around this morning and took a few pics. Seems really strange seeing Xmas decorations in this heat and listening to reggae carols.

A few images of our fantastic day in the Big Apple yesterday, sun and sights we were really lucky to have the weather on our side although our feet were a bit sore after wandering round to see so much.

Now we are back at sea sailing in calm waters down the east coast of the USA toward the sun.

All packed, 12 evening dresses & 16 other evening attire ( that’s just for me) hopefully enough other stuff to cover the different seasons and 2 suits for Doug. I’m sure I will have forgotten something oh well there are always shops 😂. Sat waiting for our lovely son in law Steve to collect us.
